Before booking, here's what you need to know:

  • Duration: 3 Days
  • Best season: June – mid September
  • Accommodation:  Overnights in tents or shepherd’s yurt, guest house

  • Group size: best size from 1 to 10

  • Requirements: weatherproof warm clothing, trekking boots, hat, sleeping bags and mats.

Here is the tour plan in brief...

Day 1:
Transfer from Bishkek to Bokonbaevo via the historic Burana Tower, with stops in Kyzyl-Tuu for crafts and culture. Overnight in a local homestay.

Day 2:
Trek from Kadji-Say to Boz Salkyn Yurt Camp, enjoy panoramic views of Lake Issyk-Kul and overnight in a traditional yurt.

Day 3:
Climb Tastar Ata Mountain (3,847 m), have lunch at the summit, then camp near Jazy Kechuu river.

Day 4:
Explore alpine lakes, learn about nomadic life and kymyz production, then overnight in Tuyuk-Tor Valley.

Day 5:
Descend to Tuura-Suu village, pass local farms, and relax in a yurt camp near the lake after reaching Ton village.

Day 6:
Return to Bishkek, marking the end of the journey.
