March 21 — Nowruz (Nauryz)
A spring equinox and New Year celebration in Central Asia.
Includes fairs, national games, concerts, and traditional food.
Celebrated across the country, especially in Bishkek and Issyk-Kul.

May 9 — Victory Day
Parades, concerts, and memorial events.
Mostly held in Bishkek.

Traditional Horse Games Festival
Includes Kok-Boru (horse game), horse races, and nomadic sports.
Often held in the Issyk-Kul region or rural areas.


Early August
Eagle Hunting Festival (Berkutchi)
Demonstrations of hunting with eagles and falcons.
Also features crafts, folklore, and traditional food.
Usually held in the Issyk-Kul region.

August 31 — Independence Day
Main national holiday of Kyrgyzstan.
Includes parades, concerts, sports events, and fireworks.
Celebrated nationwide, especially in Bishkek.
